Ankita Patel is a Partner and Creative Director of Avila Fine Arts, and was previously the founder of Preamble Arts. Her studies include a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. After dedicating over a decade to health from a scientific perspective as a clinical pharmacist, Ankita Patel pivoted to pursue her passion for art and design in 2018 by starting her own interior design business, Preamble Arts.
Recognizing that art is a vital component of holistic wellness and seeking to expand her vision, she partnered/merged Preamble Arts with Avila Fine Arts. Ankita is an active member of the Interior Design Society and received multiple certifications from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Now, as Partner and Creative Director of Avila Fine Arts, Ankita is dedicated to making art a natural part of daily life, transforming workplaces and homes into sources of harmony and inspiration.
Cynthia Hoogland is the Founder and former President of Avila Fine Arts, and now serves the company as a Partner and Senior Art Advisor. She has a Bachelor in Fine Arts from School Of Visual Arts NYC and Fine Art Appraisal Studies from New York University. She cultivated her discerning eye through a lifetime immersed in art. Her passion was ignited as a teenager dining with Salvador Dalí and later scouting art across Switzerland and Spain as a publisher’s assistant.
This rich, global perspective became the foundation of her vision. Named after a historic Spanish province, Avila Fine Arts is now a premier art consultancy. Today, Cynthia continues to bring her unique blend of expertise, passion, and sophisticated vision to every collection she curates.
Priti Vaghasiya brings a unique blend of analytical rigor and operational expertise to Avila Fine Arts as Partner and Chief Business Officer. With a background that includes a BS in Computer Science and Economics from Rutgers, an MS in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and leadership roles at Lockheed Martin and the Associated Press, Priti has over two decades of experience in strategic execution and complex project management.
She masterfully leverages her rich background in technology and business operations to drive the company’s growth and ensure every art project is delivered with precision, efficiency, and a client-focused vision.
